The Small Print
Age Groups
PLEASE NOTE that RSY-Netzer works on the ACADEMIC YEAR system. All years are calculated on the basis of the state school system. For example, if your child is to go on Machane Emunah Shemesh then they must currently be in Year 8 (England) or S1 (Scotland). If you have any doubt about which camp is appropriate, please contact Alyson on 020 8349 5666.
Insurance
RSY-Netzer and The Movement for Reform Judaism cannot take responsibility for the loss of, or damage to, any personal property taken to any of our camps. Please ensure your child’s belongings are covered by your existing household policies or that you have taken out adequate cover.
Medical Needs
There will be a qualified first aider on camp at all times. If you would like to discuss your child’s specific medical needs please contact Lucille Morris (Tuesdays only) on 020 8349 5671. RSY-Netzer operates a positive “can-do” attitude towards accommodating all participants.
Lucille Morris the Welfare Officer is leaving her post. While we are recruiting her successor we will be collecting information regarding your child/ren's welfare so that we all have a clear idea of their/your needs. We will be keeping this information confidential until her replacement is found at the beginning of March.
Travel
Reasonable travel costs to and from our events are included for the participants who live in the UK. Travel is usually by coach. Travel arrangements for participants outside of Greater London will be made from a limited number of pick-up points. We do our utmost to accommodate all participants wherever they live. We encourage your help in formulating these travel arrangements.
Attendance
Participants are accepted on all of our events on the condition that they attend the whole duration of the event.
